The London Borough of Harrow is a London borough in North-West London. It borders Hertfordshire, Hillingdon, Ealing, Brent and Barnet.
Harrow is well known for having a number of well-performing independent schools, including Harrow School, John Lyon School, North London Collegiate and Heathfield School. There are also a number of voluntary aided schools and state secondary schools and colleges.
The borough is also home to the first and only contemporary artist-led gallery, called the Usurp Art Gallery & Studios, which is based in West Harrow, a bohemian part of Harrow.
The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital is based in Harrow, as is Harrow Museum and Heritage Centre, which is housed in a 16th century tithe barn and moated manor house, and hosts vents and temporary exhibitions throughout the year.
