what our foster carers say about us
Apple Fostering I can ascertain treat/respect carers like individuals and not “just a Carer; get down from your high horse”! This statement came from my personal experience during my early days of fostering. The support I get working with Apple is unrivalled. My family is very important to me so the decision to foster was a joint one. Without having a discussion about this with my supervisor she was able to read my mind and took her time to learn/know every single member of my family and how to relate to them; it made my job as a foster Carer so much easier and enjoyable. Working for & with Apple is like being part of a family as I enjoy that sort of relationship as opposed to the traditional Employer vs Employee one. I’m developing myself everyday with different placement knowing that the help and support is there whenever bigger challenges come; you’re never left alone to be hung and dried. I now wear the “Apple badge” proudly as I feel that the company promotes the wonderful job foster carers do. I’ve experienced nothing but “Fair, Firm & Friendly” relationship with Apple staff as a whole but my supervisor in particular hence I’ve made the decision to finish my career as a FC with Apple! Keep up the good work and thank you very much. “A company’s image is evident (positive/negative) by the perceived organisational climate within”; mine has been a big positive one; Well Done!
N. E Apple Foster Carer
Apple Fostering and the Team have given me and my family that we foster the opportunity and the support to work with children from different ethnicities and cultures alike giving us as carers the opportunity to work with the diversity within a large Borough such as Brent has to offer. Which the community that we live in has a huge population that we serve as foster carers.
